To me, every room needs some piece of greenery, whether living, artificial, colorful, or shades of green. This interest in decorating with florals is what led me to create Lakewood Succulent.

As a child, I remember always rearranging furniture in my home, editing bookshelves, and learning how to garden with my mom. I discovered that light conditions, and life conditions, didn’t always allow for living plants. Since the quality of artificial florals has improved in recent years, there has once again been a desire for these in the home. I enjoy making custom arrangements for a variety of customers. My designs can range from a small table top piece to larger items for commercial spaces.  I love seeing my work show up in magazines, websites, and instagram posts.

I am happily married with two amazing daughters and reside in the adorable Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas. I worked in the medical field as a registered nurse before finding my creative outlet as a self taught florist.
